The Hotels Network Closes New Funding Round to Expand Direct Bookings Platform

The Hotels Network, a Barcelona-based hotel technology company, has closed a new funding round of $3.7 million. The company, which launched in 2015, is reported to be profitable. Clients are said to include 3,000 hotels in over 50 countries. Among them are major brands like Iberostar in Europe, Grupo Posadas in America and Minor Group in Asia. The company has offices in Barcelona, San Francisco, Mexico City, and Bangkok.

Seaya Ventures led the round with participation from the founders of online travel agency eDreams-Odigeo, SeedRocket4 Founders Capital and US venture firm NFX.

Conversion: Increase direct bookings on the hotel’s website, by improving the sales funnel.

Retargeting & Personalization: Bring back visitors who don’t convert; then personalise the website for users that come back.

According to a company spokesperson, this new funding round will be used to help further define a new category in the hotel technology stack, focused on improving the user experience, direct bookings and revenue. With the latest product developments, the company has a strong focus on data and machine learning to drive personalization, offering hotels a tailored approach through its products and integrations.
