Recognizing that hotel guests today expect personalized experiences across devices and touchpoints, and eager to expand its market presence in the hotel sector with next-generation cloud platform capabilities, Sabre Hospitality Solutions has announced the rollout of several new and improved software solutions as part of its SynXis Enterprise Platform.
These solutions include its brand new mobile-enabled SynXis Property Hub along with an upgraded version of its SynXis Booking Engine and Voice Agent. All three solutions integrate information from the company’s SynXis Central Reservations system as customers shop, book and travel. The result is a more robust, multi-dimentional portrait of guests on an individual basis and greater opportunity for the hotel to deliver more relevant and personalized messages and offers.
The SynXis Enterprise Platform seeks to address the challenge for properties still using legacy, disparate systems for hotel distribution and property management. It seeks to address the fact that hoteliers are searching for scalable ways to transform the guest experience through technology. The new integrated solutions are designed to empower hotel customers with more advanced personalization capabilities, such as dynamic offers.
Sabre is a major player in the the hotel solutions arena, serving an 39,000 hotel properties worldwide with one or more of its software solutions, which include its central reservation system and its booking engine for hotel websites.
The SynXis Property Hub is being billed as the first guest-centric, cloud-native property management system that allows hoteliers to refocus their processes on the guest in an entirely new way. According to reports, Sabre’s basic property management solution is currently being used by about 4,000 properties. The new Property Hub represents a significant upgrade in platform capabilities and a big opportunity for the company to drive continued market growth.
The all new SynXis Property Hub seeks to revolutionize how hotel properties run their day-to-day operations, leveraging integrated capabilities from across the entire SynXis platform. Sabre is touting the solution architecture as highly guest-centric, putting guest information and preferences front-and-center for hotel staff. Given its mobile-optimized design, employees should be able to easily access guest information and execute operational tasks anywhere and on any device, resulting in a more efficient and connected experience.
The upgraded SynXis Booking Engine is designed to bring personalization to the shopping phase of travel, making the guest’s experience unique from their first interaction with the property. Using dynamic personalization, the SynXis Booking Engine makes it easier for travelers to find exactly what they’re looking for by sorting and displaying content and products based on a guest’s “persona,” determined by their booking behavior. Its fast, responsive user interface means the traveler’s experience will be seamless on any device.
As a complement to the updated SynXis Booking Engine, the upgraded SynXis Voice Agent features an all-new, easy-to-use interface that enables phone support teams to be more productive and provide enhanced, personalized support to guests. SynXis Voice Agent’s tie to the SynXis Enterprise Platform provides a complete view of the guest, including a centralized guest database for access across properties.
Sabre has indicated that an additional solution, SynXis Guest Experience, will be coming to the SynXis Enterprise Platform later this year. The solution builds and shares a copy of guest profile information across the SynXis Central Reservations system, SynXis Property Hub, and third-party systems, adding an additional layer of personalization at every touchpoint, through every offer. The first leg of this service, a collaboration with CRM provider Cendyn, was announced last month and the company’s eInsight CRM and eLoyalty products are currently available as part of the SynXis Enterprise Platform.
