The new release of LMS introduces several product enhancements and new functionality, including a web-based user interface that expands on the existing web-based offerings such as the housekeeping and reporting modules that Agilysys released last year.

Agilysys, which has been deep in technology innovation and new product development mode, has unveiled the latest fruits of its labor. These include a number of new product features and functionality designed to improve operational efficiency and enhance the quality of the guest experience.

Among the new product releases likely to be well received by hoteliers and guests alike is the Lodging Management System (LMS), version 7.4. LMS is a leading property management solution that bills itself as a technology platform that automates virtually every aspect of hotel operations, including reservations, credit card processing, accounting, housekeeping, activities scheduling, food and beverage sales, online reservations and remote check-in.

The new release introduces several product enhancements and new functionality, including a web-based user interface that expands on the existing web-based offerings such as the housekeeping and reporting modules that the Agilysys released last year. The new version also enhances the system’s rGuest Pay integration, adding support for the Worldpay gateway solution and for the use of Givex gift cards.

Agilysys also just launched rGuest Book, a new web booking engine, as well as rGuest Express, a self-service kiosk solution. allows guests to check in and out themselves. Guests can make their room selection choices and have their room key created directly at the kiosk, and the solution supports a variety of payment options. The kiosk is designed for flexibility and has a variety of settings to allow operators to adapt it to their preferred workflow.

A commission-free reservation system designed to move guests effortlessly through the booking process, rGuest Book is cloud-based, as is the case with most next-generation hospitality solutions, and fully responsive, with the goal of bringing fast deployment and flexibility to hoteliers at properties of all sizes and categories.

These new products from Agilysys, which saw its revenue last quarter increase 4.8 percent as compared to last fiscal year’s fourth quarter, integrate with LMS 7.4.1. Integrations for rGuest Stay and Visual One property management systems are reportedly scheduled for release later this year.
