Booking.com Launches “One-stop Shop” Where Hoteliers Can Shop For Technology Solutions

For hotel solution providers, connecting to the BookingSuite App Store and SSO (single sign-on) product enables them to offer their services to properties around the world.

Booking.com has announced the launch of the new BookingSuite App Store, following a trial period that began early last year. The BookingSuite App Store is being billed as a one-stop shop where hoteliers can go to find relevant software solutions for their property. All of the products and services offered on the store come with a free trial period.

The BookingSuite App Store is a marketplace of software solutions from hotel technology solution providers. The solutions are organized into a number of different categories, to make it easier for hoteliers to find the solutions that may be the best fit for  property.

The BookingSuite App Store provides some level of personalized recommendations for hoteliers based on their type, size, location, past performance and industry benchmarking data. It also includes products and services aimed at helping to improve the guest experience at their property, including solutions for guest communications, upsell and promotions.

All technology solutions sync with existing Booking.com accounts, with no need to upload new payment details or remember multiple passwords. One of the big selling points is that hoteliers can cancel solutions at anytime, switching between products and services to find the right ones for their business.

For technology solution providers, the App Store, the BookingSuite APIs provide a scalable platform to reach new customers and markets through an integration via Booking.com, including secure and compliant transfer of data, data connection and fee collection.

For hotel solution providers, connecting to the BookingSuite App Store and SSO (single sign-on) product enables them to offer their services to properties around the world. This includes easy integration with the BookingSuite APIs and a seamless SSO flow that allows properties to easily and securely share their data using their Booking.com credentials for a more relevant, personalised and connected experience.

The BookingSuite App Store includes a provider portal to track performance, manage accounts and data connections, in addition to handling fee collection in over 50 currencies and translations of all relevant product information into more than 40 languages.

The BookingSuite App Store is currently available for Booking.com users and hotel software solution providers in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. According to a company spokesperson, the BookingSuite App Store will be launched in additional markets in Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Americas later this year.
