Amenities also now include an in-room chatbox thanks to a partnership Volara.

The Hotel Concord is a new 38-room boutique hotel that officially opened its doors for business in August of this year. The hotel located on the fourth and sixth floors of Capital Commons, which is a six-story building overlooking the the New Hampshire State House and the pristine Merrimack River. Amenities include oversize bathrooms, luxurious bedding, an executive lounge on each floor.

Amenities also now include an in-room chatbox thanks to a partnership Volara. The solution provider bills itself as “the voice hub for the hotel industry.” It’s stated mission is to ensure that guests’ experiences are memorable and engaging. The idea is that by equipping every room in the boutique hotel with a custom branded Volara-powered Amazon Echo Dot, guests will speak requests in their rooms and staff will act on those requests instantly.

The Hotel Concord is the first in New England to engage travelers with this market leading voice technology.

Volara provides platform agnostic voice-based conversation management software and a secure integrations hub. Its software is designed to turn the major natural language processing platforms into a hotel business tool that drives more efficient guest service, influences guests’ behavior, improves net promoter scores and helps hoteliers understand their guests better.

According to a company spokesperson, Volara is the only hotel-focused solution with an Alexa for Business Solution Designation, and it is a launch partner for Alexa for Hospitality. Today the company provides conversation management and reportedly secure integrations for 98 percent of the hotels using Alexa technology in the United States.
